In hockey when a player scores 3 goals, it's called a "hat-trick!
In politics it's is just a plain old "Sweep!"
Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) appears headed that way tonight! He already won today's Washington state primary with 67%, and Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) at 32%. Obama won 14 delegates to Clinton's 5.
It was a similar story today in Nebraska, where Obama took 68% of the vote to Clinton's 32%. That means 10 more delegates for Obama and 3 for Clinton.
Obama also took a razor-thin lead in the early results from Louisiana, when he was widely projected to win his third Saturday primary.
On the GOP side, former Gov. Mike Huckabee handily won the Kansas caucus and 36 delegates. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has a slight lead in early returns from Washington state.
Maine Democrats vote tomorrow! We'll update the weekend primary results, a bit later tonight!
